With the 2024 football season on the horizon, Hornet football fans and the school are getting ready for a look at the team.
Hilldale will scrimmage this Friday at Beggs in a four-way affair with the host Golden Demons, Bristow and Catoosa with round-robin action beginning at 5 p.m. The teams will then square off in half-game scrimmages with the Hornets taking on Bristow around 7.
The following week on Thursday August 29 Hilldale will host Vian and Grove in a scrimmage that will feature seventh grade through varsity teams playing. The school will get involved with an All-School Pep Rally on Monday the 26th at 6 p.m. where this year’s football and cheer squads will be introduced.
The Hornets will get the regular season started September 6th when they travel to Tulsa Edison and then open the home season in exciting fashion the following week as they host Fort Gibson in the Battle for the Rock.
